December 10, 2012 - HRA ELECTS NEW LEADERSHIP
The House Republican Alliance has elected three co-chairs for the 2013-2104 term. They are Representatives Al Baldasaro of Londonderry, Carol McGuire of Epsom and Pam Tucker of Greenland. All three have been active in the HRA and in House leadership.

January 28, 2010 - ABUSE OF THE HEARING PROCESS
Democrat leadership has deliberately scheduled Republican-sponsored bills to be heard at conflicting times, so that sponsors cannot give them the attention they deserve. For example, Rep. Renzullo had eleven of his bills scheduled for committee hearings on the same day, with many at the same time.

December 23, 2009 - LEGISLATIVE CHRISTMAS SURPRISE
With no advance notice the Joint Legislative Facilities Committee voted on party lines to ban guns from the State House and two other buildings used by legislators. While this idea has been debated and defeated numerous times by the House as a whole, the Democrats took advantage of their majority status to deny legislators rights to self-defense by rule rather than law.

While House rules allow late filing of bills when significant events occur after the filing period, Democrats on the Rules Committee voted unanimously not to allow the Kimberly Cates murder bill to go forward.

November 20, 2009 - FUNDAMENTAL RIGHT TO BEAR ARMS
The HRA has filed an amicus brief before the Supreme Court in the McDonald v. City of Chicago case, arguing that the second amendment right to bear arms is fundamental and applies to the states as well as the federal government.

October 20, 2009 - TAX SUMMIT SHAM
Now that the Democrat's overspending is catching up to them, here come the major new (sales and income) taxes to bail them out. At the upcoming tax summit discussion of spending will not be allowed. Hang onto your wallet...

May 29, 2009 - FOLLOW THE RULES
Speaker Terie Norelli violated House Rules when she selected Representatives Richardson, Thompson and Weber to be on the HB 73 Committee of Conference. A majority of the committee members (Representative DiFruscia was also named) should be from the prevailing side, but all three were in the minority when the House voted on the bill.
